The knowledge and experience from the original production process has been applied in the resumed production. Craftsmen from renowned J.O. Carlsson and Forsberg's in Småland have worked to revive assembly with the upmost attention quality, detail and sustainability. The production of Etecetera is a testimony of craftsmanship, love for design and the highest level of skilled manufacturing.

The Series, containing three models: Armchair, Lounge chair and stool, is available in nine color ways.

DESIGNERS’ NOTES

With its unique design and unrivaled comfort, the Etcetera series has conquered the design world ever since the 70s when it was originally designed by Jan Ekselius it. In a unique partnership, Artilleriet and Ekselius now resume production of the Swedish design classic to ensure its continued presence in homes around the world. The Etcetera footstool provides added comfort for your total enjoyment. It also serves as an extra seat when you have additional guests.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER

JAN EKSELIUS

Jan Ekselius is a Swedish furniture designer born on June 7, 1946. Ekselius had his international breakthrough with the design of the lounge chair Etcetera from 1970-1972. In 1978, he designed the Accent lamp series for Swedish glassware company Orrefors and in 1982 the Victor chair for Swedish furniture retailer JOC Møbler in Vetlanda, Sweden. Jan Ekselius in 1970, is a modernist furniture take on the traditional accent chair. The chair features a singular, curved body that has been gently bent in the form of a chair without arms. The design is characterized by its simple, clean lines and lack of unnecessary ornamentation.
